A life in beds

Ron Chadwick sometimes feels "a bit guilty" that his memory is still so sharp at 86.

When he looks back at his years on the planet, he can remember just about every bed he's ever slept in. So for no reason other than it being an unusual way to track a life, Chadwick sat down and wrote a list. With brief titles such as "sticky Khartoum", "squeaky nuptials" and "Pohara beach and possums", Chadwick listed about 70 overnight stops in various beds from the Great Depression to today.
