From class clowns to stand-up stars: Is this New Zealand's next generation of comic greats?

Green says the best – indeed, the only – way to learn how to do stand-up is to actually do it. As such, the rest of the session is committed to theatre-sports-type exercises. Including writing down what Green looks like.

He tells the girls he wants their observations to be as specific as possible.

"This is called school-sanctioned bullying," he says, smile still in place.

"The fun thing about me is, I have a very thick skin. So I can take it."
